THE GREAT RIVER OF EDEN

In the year 1656 after the creation of Adam (2348 BC) the world was an entirely different place to what it is today, in every sense of the word, but particularly, its geography. There was no ocean, as we know it today; no deserts or beaches as we know them today; no great canyons, escarpments and craggy mountains; no rainfall had occurred, the land was “watered by dew and mists rising up every morning”.

There was a gargantuan river that began in what we now call the Himalayas, (Which were much higher than they are today). This river poured forth from the Himalayas and wound its vast course down through the Bay of Bengal and snaked around the coasts of Indonesia (mountains in those days). It meandered through what is now a seabed (Sibuyan Sea) between N.W.New Guinea and broke into the first of four great heads or tributaries.

One of these great heads partially encircled the now seabed region of the Western Pacific Ocean (around the western coasts of the Philippines) enclosing an area roughly twice the size of India. (For this observation we will call it the River Gihon [2nd head] and the seabed area Ethiopia).

Another great head or Tributary scored a winding path through what is now the Eastern quarter of the Indian Ocean, round the Great Australian Bight and meandered wildly through the Coral Seabed and down through the Kermadec Trench and Hort Trench flanking New Zealand; (For this observation we will call it the River Pison [1st head] and the enclosed areas Havilah [this would include Australasia, the Coral & Tasman seabeds and perhaps even New Zealand and the Kermadec Island chains up as far as Tonga and the Kiribati regions, flush with the now International Dateline). Certainly Australasia has proved huge gold and precious stone reserves, however deep under seabed excavations of this huge area may one day show settlement remains and gold seams and mines, buried under mountains of mud, silt and debris.

The River of Eden then continued to snake round the coasts of Japan, flowing deep, wide and swiftly North around the Aleutian Island chain’s southern coasts and right down the entire North & South American Western Seaboards, rounding Cape Horn and then diverting deep south right round Antarctica. (We shall call this 3rd great head Hiddekel as it flows eastwards encompassing a vast region of the eastern Pacific off the West coasts of the Americas and Antarctica; these great lands are very significant in this thesis, and would be known as Assyria)

From there it is flowing much less swiftly as it rounds the globe and continues around the Eastern American seaboards, and North scouring the Arctic coasts of Northern Canada, Russia, Scandinavia and Greenland before returning South, after its trek around the Arctic, heading right down the African Continent’s Western Seaboard, rounding deep South off the Cape of Good Hope and into the Mauritus trench where it concludes somewhere in the Somali Basin. (This final massive meandering head of the Great River of Eden is by far the longest and we shall call it The Euphrates, especially as it literally “winds up” close to the nowadays mouth of the second Euphrates, through the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman into the Arabian Sea)

The river ran deepest and swiftest through what we now call the Marianas Trench. (In fact most all of the deep sea trenches delineate the remnants of the course of the Great River of Eden and its four main heads)

It must be stated now that the aforesaid is very hard to exactly prove since so much of the true course of the old River of Eden would have been destroyed in the Great Flood by the vast torrents of water tearing its gargantuan banks wide apart and silting up forever its original snaking, finely detailed course. However, the above basic trajectory seems fairly accurate from all current available information. Access to highly detailed satellite images of the world's seabeds, using sonic resonance techniques should modify more precisely the actual course of the Great River and its four main heads. (A continuing study exercise) 

In any event, this author can certainly testify that the Great River did not begin in the now Middle East, and the current Ethiopia, Assyria and the Euphrates were not the ones referred to in Genesis 2: 10-14. Why limit God? It is better to fully expound on His work. The Great Flood would have buried forever all the sites established in the 1656 years of the Adamic Generations. The Ark settled in another totally different part of the world, and the entire geography of the planet had been so radically erased and changed, old, pre-flood sites and places were just in Noah’s family’s memory, and could never have been identified at that time!!

A VISION OF PRE-FLOOD SITES

The following is the Second Stage of this Observation, and places the following Biblical sites in interesting areas that do have some metaphysical support processes, as follows:

THE GARDEN OF EDEN ITSELF

Whilst the Garden Of Eden is understood by this author to broadly define the entire planet earth at that time, as well as That Special Place Planted By The LORD God, it was wild and natural. There were probably no polar ice caps as we know them today. The fish and whales and suchlike were contained in a number of large Seas, surrounded on all sides by land. Some examples of these Seas are as follows:

The Philippine Basin, West Mariana Basin, Northwest Pacific Basin, Northeast Pacific Basin, Southwest Pacific Basin, Peru & Chile Basins, Natal Basin, Crozet Basin, South Indian Basin, South Australian Basin, Arabian Basin, Wharton Basin, Southeast Pacific Basin, Argentine Basin, Brazil Basin, Cape Verde Basin, North American Basin, Angola Basin, and the Great Sea of the Mariana Basin. Most all of the present day Basins, would have contained seas in the pre-flood global topography. They would have been separated by various low, “soft” mountain ranges (large undulating Hills), and the Great Eden River snaked its course through the valleys between these large Hills and the various “Seas”. The huge, real mountain ranges and soaring plateaus of the pre flood era were none other than the Continents of North & South America, Africa, Europe and Asia. Australia and the Antarctic.

The “Giants” that roamed in those days, whilst perhaps meaning huge people, were most definitely the now extinct race of so called Dinosaurs. (especially Behemoth the real Dinosaur / Barosaurus): (Job:40:15-24) Note particularly vs.19: [“He is chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword approach unto him”] a reference to the destruction of that species. They were mostly wiped out by the Flood and probably also by hunting expeditions by Nimrod’s generations and the Cainites. The “ways of God” would also have meant the highways or paths of God through the huge mountain ranges of the pre flood epoch. [Note also: vs:20: “Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play”]

It is proposed herein that Behemoth was the Barosauraus; and T.Rex was the Old dragon, Leviathan, A Dragon. (Job: 41:1-34) Note particularly again vs.34 (last verse) [“He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.”]

The actual Garden of Eden, as a specially cultivated region, with exotic fruit trees and suchlike, would then, according to our pre flood topographical thesis, have been situated in the Bay Of Bengal, where the Great river flowed down onwards round the coast of Sumatra. 

Based on “visions” in Hawaii in 1985, this Treatise proposes the Garden firmly placed NNW of the Andaman Islands, now buried most deeply under what is known as the “Ganges Fan”. The cryptic irony is that “Andaman” is so close to “Adam-man” or “And A Man”, that we have an esoteric reference to the first occupant of the Garden Of Eden, Adam himself!! (This proposed site was independently located prior to knowing the name of the small island chain that is now known in that region) The irony deepens when we consider the site of the fruit of the Tree Of Life buried under mountains of silt brought down through the great home of Lucifer -The Krishna blue devil man with many arms and serpents depicted in Indian religious pictures with a western looking woman [Eve???]

To continue, when Lucifer as the Serpent, had done his evil in the Garden Adam fell: “Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.” [Genesis: 3:23-24]

The use of the word “drove” is very telling, bearing in mind that “Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud,” [Isaiah: 19: vs.1] and Ezekiel’s great observation of “Wheels” in Chapter 1 clearly remind a modern reader of UFOs and jets. Perhaps Adam really was “driven” out of the Garden, so to speak! <Big Smile>

In any event, the following is a further
expansion on this “Vision”:

The flaming sword that turned every way was also a giant ring of volcanoes; The fiery Ring Of the Pacific. Where the Great River surged, it could not be crossed because it was wide and deep and fast flowing (many multiple miles wide in places). On the outer side of the river, volcanoes poured forth fire.

Adam was driven to the land inside this ring of volcanoes and Great River heads, theorised earlier as “Assyria” or now known as The Pacific Ocean! Of course, this is a vast expanse of land, and Adam was just one man with his wife. Following the thread of this story deeper, where exactly was Adam placed?

Inspired by The Spirit only, it is proposed that he was placed just south of the Aleutian Island chain, the region is known as “The Aleutian Trench Continental Slope”. It would have been rich red soil on a huge plain zone known now southwards as “The Mendocino Fracture Zone” and extends right down through the Murray, Molokai, Clarion & Clipperton Fracture Zones, encompassing the “Baja California Seamount Province”. It is “seen” that the Adamic generations settled and grew and populated this favourable region for 1656 years.

The Aleutian Trench Continental Slope would then have been well watered, near the Great River bend as it coursed round and down the Great American Seaboard. On the West coast of this vast settlement site would have been a great Sea (The Northeast Pacific Basin) and the far Western coast of this Great Sea housed a huge chain of Volcanoes and mountains, Hawaii! 

Ship building was definitely an occupation prior to Noah’s days, and this Great Sea was charted extensively and sailed extensively allowing easy access to the Hawaiian mountains. It is further theorised that the Ark , (drawing from established boat building technologies) set forth from the side of the highest mountain in the region, Hawaii main island itself; a majestic sight on the distant western horizon, due to the very clear air of those days, albeit smoky from time to time from the volcanoes. [The metaphysical word links between Aloha and Aholah are interesting to say the least] 

So, we have the Adamic generations firmly removed from the Tree Of Life for ever. Cain is then sent further East again, into the Land of Nod, wandering and hunting until he builds a city. Where would this have been? Well, it is proposed herein that the land of Nod is known affectionately as “Atlantis” where building and technologies were rife, spawned by Tubal-Cain. This would have put them across the North American mountains and into the Atlantic region (This Treatise favours the Mid Atlantic Ridge, near the Azores, with the civilisation spreading eventually across the Sea in the American Basin as far as the Bimini Bank region).

Being removed from the presence of the Lord meant that the Cainites were lovers of pleasure and violence and bizarre sexual activity couple with intense idol worship. Cain’s mark may have been on his forehead; it may have been a body tattoo, or was possibly a complete skin colour change, perhaps to a tanned shade, as opposed to the fair skins and ruddy complexions of the Adamites. However, since any person could tell by the mark that if he killed Cain Judgment on him would be sevenfold, the mark must have been in Hebrew, a symbol or word stating the same, and visible to all on the forehead or hand. See Genesis 4 : 15

Cain’s wife was possibly a now extinct advanced Ape like creature OR more likely an unrecorded daughter of Eve that went with him; in any event, the proposition is that the Cain civilisations spread forth in the Atlantic lands whilst the Adamites thrived in the Pacific Lands.

When the extraterrestrial seed from the Sons of God took root, [Genesis Chapter Six] coupled with the great lifespans of these peoples, great advances in science, travel, technology, civilisation and powers we can only dream about flourished in the two great centres of the Pacific & the Atlantic.

People avoided the high mountains of the great present day continents because of the fearsome creatures that lived there (The Prehistoric Dynasties of Dinosaurs etc); until, that is, they had fashioned advanced weapons of destruction. Wars were commonplace; incest and debauchery abounded in the Atlantis regions. 

It is further contemplated herein that a third generation of beings lived on the earth and were separated further still from the Adamites & Cainites; the fallen Angels of Lucifer. The Cherubims kept them away from the Tree of Life, but the theory is that they dwelt in the Mid Indian Ocean Ridge and Ceylon Plain regions of the Indian Ocean.

These beings were in a state of exile and led by Lucifer himself. The ancient legends of the lost Continent of Lemuria typifies this civilisation; whilst the lost continent of Pan typifies the Adamites. Atlantis we have already covered.

With their vast lifespans, they achieved unimaginable wonders, such levels that we have only just reached this century. It is very likely that during Noah’s pre flood life, these three civilisations made contact with each other. Alliances may have been forged, and unimaginable wickedness prevailed from the Lemurian inhabitants and the Cainites, contaminating and polluting the more holy men of the Adamites, who had called upon the Lord since the days of Enos.

The mountain domains of the Dinosaurs were invaded and a great slaughter for meat probably took place. Job Chapter 40: Verse 19

The countdown to the complete annihilation of the earth and all its inhabitants had begun, with Noah only being forewarned. It seemed crazy to those who heard of it... Rain! It had never rained on the earth before! The climate was utopian, idyllic. The earth was a paradise geographically, and the LORD and His Angels watched on.....

THE GREAT FLOOD AND THE EVIDENCE

Deep in distant space existed a vast gathering of “Waters” divided from the planets during the first creation. These waters (most likely in the form of ice), were brought to the earth and pervaded its upper layers in 1656 AA. When the time was just right and all was ready with Noah, the Ark and the animals and birds, gargantuan storm clouds gathered. JEHOVAH visited Noah and closed him in the Ark and then co-ordinated the entire destruction of the earth. A proposed figure for the human/demi-god population of the earth at that time is: 72 Billion inhabitants.

The force of the rain cannot be properly understood. It was not normal rain, it was like a huge wall of water that fell on special, controlled areas first, namely the heart of Atlantis and Mu and the upper mountains of the Continents. The force of the water carved vast valleys out of the rock. The Grand Canyon was created in this manner in the space of a few days. 

All the huge valleys we can see today were gouged out of the rock in like fashion as the oceans of water fell. 

The Dinosaurs were wiped out and all life was exterminated in the first 10 days or so of the release of the Flood waters of God’s wrath. Because all settlements were in the open plains by the Great River banks and the Sea shores, they were quickly inundated. The force of the waters literally took the tops off all the mountains. 1656 years of no rain had left the rock dry, cracked and brittle. It crumbled apart like a sand castle in a storm.

The waters followed the course of the Great River, with the Himalayan regions attracting the full force of the deluge. The great river swelled to mammoth proportions and soon flooded its massive banks and joined the Seas. As the waters gradually rose, there was an eye in the hurricane; theorised as the mountains of Hawaii, where the gopher trees were used to build the huge Ark. As the waters swirled and flooded the plains of the Adamites, taking with them all the inhabitants, Noah and his family and guests felt the Ark shift from its platform as it rose up in the torrent of overflowing flood waters.

Rapidly, the great civilisations in the Indian, Pacific & Atlantic Ocean regions were buried deep, deep, deep under the surging rising torrents of fluid destruction.

Gradually, all the hills of these lands were covered and the Ark was charting a course Westwards in the storm currents. Unimaginably huge clouds of silt swirled in the thick red-brown waters as the sea level rose and rose. At one point in the rise, a map of the world as it looks today was present; one huge ocean and five main land masses (“The Mountains”). Soon, however, the rising fountains of water bursting forth from the bowels of the earth engulfed the slopes of the continental mountain ranges as the inexorable climb of the flood waters continued. (perhaps the Caspian sea and other landlocked seas are the remnants of the old sites where the fountains of water burst out from the earth).

Soon, only a few very high mountains were left protruding, the Andes, The Himalayas, The Rockies, soon all that was left was Mount Everest. The waters continued to deluge forth, with the Everest peak creating a great Maelstrom around itself. This produced a distinct current that gradually sucked the Ark ever westwards, until even Everest was covered; a further 26.25 feet of water fell across the surface of the whole globe and the Flood ceased.

The Ark, still caught in the huge vector currents continued its course, travelling over the south Pacific islands, the Philippines, South East Asia and over the deeply buried site of the old Garden of Eden, pushed onwards by the great wind that blew across the surface of this great globe of water spinning helplessly in space, until it became caught in a vast whirlpool that had begun as the waters began to subside. Mount Everest was the first to reappear as the Ark rounded its Southern flank.

As the waters greatly subsided the Ark probably settled on the far south-western flank of the Himalayan mountain range, on the south-westward slopes of the foothills of K-2, near present day Hindu Kush.

The flood continued to drop rapidly as the waters were fanned into evaporation and settled to the current day ocean levels, with all remnants of the great civilisations buried forever under mountains of silt and mud.

As the flood waters dropped still further, the vast clouds of silt and debris they carried were dropped onto various plains and were dried out by the sun (where it never rained) and became the beginning of the known deserts of the post deluge epoch.

Additionally, these huge silt and flood erosion deposits gathered at the rims of the new continental geography to form all the known beaches of this new world. The beaches were not formed over hundreds of millions of years of sea erosion; nor were the valleys and mountains carved over hundreds of millions of years; it all occurred in less than one year, caused by the flood.

At one point, when the flood was at its peak, the colossal extra weight on the planet, caused by the addition of all the extra waters from space, made the earth tilt on its axis, sealing new weather patterns for this current epoch.

The sun’s rays now fall at a different angle; the atmospheric layers are different and dangerous new radiation released on the earth by the new position in space caused the people to age rapidly with lifespans soon dropping from a 950 year average to a near maximum of 120 years as The LORD decreed.

The new angle in space produced the polar ice caps, augmented by residues of flood vapour in the air gathering at the Poles. Regular rainfall was a new weather feature facilitating Rainbows for the first time in His-story.

The Ark was broken up and used for the first Dwellings by Noah and his first generations, as well as firewood and carts and tools etc. There was never any Ark actually on Mount Ararat itself. Mount Ararat was a spiritual word for where the Ark first settled, perhaps near Everest, where they “rested forever”. The name was recalled by a family that founded the now "Turkish" race soon after Babel, and was applied to that Mountain that bears the name to this day, but it could not have been where the Ark alighted. We can see this clearly in Genesis: 11:2: “And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.”

Nevertheless, if this observation is not accurate, then this website below may provide an answer that the Ark has been found in September 1960.

The problem still remains that they could NOT have journied from this Site, travelling from the East, and arrived at the Plain of Shinar, so this thesis still may be correct.

If they journeyed to central Iraq from the east they could not have come from Mount Ararat in Turkey. They came from the east to central Iraq, where the next civilisation was founded; from the east means what it says. The time that elapsed from the days of Shem to the days of Peleg, when the new languages were given, was less than a few hundred years later, plenty of time to spread to Iraq from the western Himalayas.

 POSSIBLE ROUTE AND LOCATION MAP 

The rest is history and geography. Evidence for the flood abounds everywhere in geology (and also myths and legends). The catastrophic upheavals of the earth when the fountains of the deep poured forth and the great rivers and torrents carved the rocks, coupled with the 150 days of swirling flood waters was more than sufficient to rearrange the rock and sediment strata.

When the Great River overflowed with the torrent of the early flood waters, for example, it surged around the South Eastern coast of Australia, causing the rock to fall into the flood waters creating that giant wall of rock typifying that Australian seaboard which is so famous in moving pictures these days. The same effects caused the steep walls of the continents in certain places, as can be discerned from underwater topography maps.

Since the flood hit heaviest in the now ocean bed civilisations it rounded off the tops of all the hills and mounts to the new shape they have underwater today. The force and weight of the water on the thinner crust of the Pacific ocean bed pushed it down and forced up more volcanoes than were present before.

As the currents swirled and settled, carrying trillions of tons of displaced shell fish from all the seas of the pre flood epoch, many were caught up and gathered to be deposited into the huge chalk layers we see today. Dried out and settling over a thousand years or so, they joined other post flood new rock formations that Geologists mistakenly believe took hundreds of millions of years to gradually build up. A good piece of evidence is a vertical whale found entombed in these horizontal layers of chalky shellfish. The whale was violently deposited there in a thick sediment of heavy shellfish as the flood settled down.

The so called ice age was a short lived phenomenon that began shortly after the new axis position of the earth had established itself, as well as maybe a sudden temperature drop when the Vast Flood Clouds came in. (This may account for the sudden rapid freezing of the mammoths). The valleys that the rivers froze in had already been carved out by the flood waters earlier.

New weather patterns produced the rest of the erosion and changes we can observe today. Any close look at the shelves carved out where the new ocean level meets the land can identify only relatively minor inroads into the overhanging rock (eg: Thailand/Philippine islets etc.)

Above all else, after the LORD and His Angels scattered all families worldwide with new languages and cultures around 2113 BC, the early families talked regularly about the stories handed down by Noah and his family; great stories of the flood and the histories of the pre-flood peoples. These soon got distorted and mythed, although many of the names may be close to real people who used to live before the flood, and founded the so called legends that we can read about in many cultures worldwide, even today.

The great names Assyria, Euphrates and Ethiopia were certainly so famous in the pre flood generations that the families who founded Syria, Ethiopia, Assyria and other Middle Eastern countries after the flood and Babel, recalled these names and called their lands likewise, slightly confusing the real story, but easy enough to unravel with diligence.

This is not offered as a fantasy story but a potential retrospective 
“Prophecy Vision” of the distant past, that could only have been unravelled since the early 1970s thanks to the great efforts of the thousands of people who have unwittingly mapped the old pre-flood landscapes, deep under the present ocean, where the old Great Riverbed of Eden can be clearly discerned in many places. 

This short Treatise also foresees a future era of deep seabed silt archaeology, with giant remote controlled robotic “diggers” sifting through some of the sites proposed in this Essay. Then, the final evidence of human habitation where it could not possibly have been will appear, proving Genesis to be true in every way, as is the entire Holy Bible.
